The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College will host its fall Registration Roundup event Tuesday Aug. 26, from 4 – 6:30 p.m.
Registration Roundup offers current and prospective students a chance to explore the breadth of certificate and degree programs CTC has to offer, all in one night. Staff will be available to assist in registering for classes, getting a PolarExpress card or a parking pass, and ordering books. Program faculty and advisors will also be available to discuss areas of study, tuition waiver opportunities and financial aid.
New students can apply to UAF CTC on the spot; the $40 UAF application fee will be waived at this event.
UAF Community and Technical College offers more than 40 one-year certificate and two-year associate degree programs in a variety of fields. Many of the fastest growing occupations in the U.S. require only a community or technical college education. Areas of study at CTC include workforce development and programs such as emergency services, aviation, process technology and nursing.
UAF Community and Technical College is located at 604 Barnette Street in downtown Fairbanks. Parking is free for this event and chili and refreshments will be provided.
