The University of Alaska Museum of the North and the Fairbanks Children’s Museum offer two museums with one membership.
As the summer season approaches, the museums remind people about the benefits of a joint family membership:
- Members and their immediate family will continue to receive free admission to the UA Museum of the North and its family programs.
- When the Fairbanks Children’s Museum opens again in the fall, membership will apply to both museums.
- FCM’s Pop-Up Playground this summer will be at the Downtown Market on Mondays and at local parks from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursdays.
- Apply for an exciting summer camp experience with the Fairbanks Children’s Museum. Sessions begin June 2.
This great deal of a dual membership has been a positive experience for both museums. They hope to collaborate on upcoming projects. In the meantime, if you have any questions do not hesitate to call the help line at 474-7505. You can also find both museums online.
