Preschooler winter gear drive begins

Don’t toss out old winter gear now that spring has arrived. The Children’s Healthy Living Program in the Center for Alaska Native Health Research is organizing a drive to collect preschooler-sized winter clothing and equipment.

For preschoolers to be physically active in the winter, they need the right gear. Help make Fairbanks a more active community by donating winter gear appropriate for children ages 2-8 years old.

Donations can be dropped in the Arctic Health Research Building, Room 105, or the Patty Center. All items must be clean and in good condition.
