Museum to host spring-themed Family Day

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host a Family Day celebrating spring on Saturday, May 4 from noon to 4 p.m.

Visitors can build a flower and make a sunprint. Other activities include assembling a field notebook and making sidewalk chalk art. Participants will also meet museum botanists and see plant specimens from the herbarium.

Activities are included with admission. For more information, call 907-474-7505 or visit the museum online at museum.uaf.edu.

      Kathy,
      Yes, the Family Day series of events take place at the UA Museum of the North at 907 Yukon Avenue on the UAF campus.
      All the activities are included with museum admission.
